Island to island swimrun
Brunskär 13.8.2022. Finally it’s time for a long planned adventure! Welcome to take part in our first swimrun in the lovely Brunskär archipelago. Island to island swimrun is a race for you who want an unforgettable challenge in beautiful nature and traditional archipelago setting.
The Island to island route is approx. 10 km long. The approx. 12 swim segments are 50-300 m long. Will you make it?
Invitation & rules for the competition
Length: approximately 10 km with ca 12 swimming stretches of 50–300 m
Classes: Individual Male / Female
Participation fee: Race 60 €, including transport 95 €
Obligatory raceinfo: at 12:30 in the Brunskär harbour
Start: Collective start at 13:00.
Application: on the website https://www.brunskar.fi/swimrun no later than 31.7.2022

Corona: There might be some changes or further restrictions due to Covid-19.
Racevests must be picked up at the raceinfo. The vests are returned after the race. The route takes you over cliffs, through forest and across water in beautiful nature in our traditional archipelago environment. The route over land is clearly marked, as well as the swim stretches. The best women and men are awarded shortly after crossing the goal line.

Registration
Choose the “Swimrun” alternative if you arrive to Brunskär with your own boat. If you need boat transportation from Korpoström, choose “Swimrun + transport”. The number of places is limited. Last date of registration is 31.7.2022.

Sign up for an unforgettable race! In addition to the race, the fee includes service along the race and sauna and dinner afterwards. The participant is transported from Korpoström to Brunskär and back during the race day.
Logistics and accommodation
You can come to Brunskär by your own boat (60 02.519'N, 21 30.044'E) or, if you sign up for the transport, you come to Korpoström by car. By car, it takes approximately 2 hours from Turku and 4 hours from Helsinki. Please note, that you take two ferries on the way, so be sure to reserve plenty of time. In Korpoström there is public parking lot, the fee can be paid by credit card.
There are some hotels in Korppoo, if you want to sleep over. On Brunskär we cannot offer any accommodation except by agreement a spot for a tent.
